of this time honored dish.
Quick and Easy Caesar Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 medium to large head of Romaine lettuce
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- Croutons (To make your own, see directions below)
- Freshly ground pepper, as desired
- Caesar Dressing (See directions below)
Directions:
Wash and dry the Romaine lettuce, then tear or cut into pieces. Place in the salad bowl and let it set in the refrigerator for about half an
hour. While the lettuce is setting, you can make the Caesar Dressing and the croutons.
Caesar Dressing: Place ¼ teaspoon prepared mustard sauce, and 1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Mix with a fork. Stir in 2 tablespoons
lemon juice and 1/3 cup olive oil.
Croutons: If you want a more authentic taste to your Caesar Salad, try making your own croutons. They are quite easy to make and taste
delicious.
For this you will need 3 cups of French bread cubes and ½ cup of Olive oil. Heat the Olive oil on medium to high heat. Once it is fully heated,
add the bread cubes. Let them fry in the oil as you toss around occasionally. You will know they are done when they turn a golden brown, and are
crispy on the outside. A bit of garlic salt can be added to the croutons to give them a bit more flavor.
Pour the Caesar Dressing over the lettuce. Add Parmesan cheese, pepper (if desired), and croutons.
Serve and enjoy.

it. For a creamier texture, add a tablespoon of mayonnaise or Miracle Whip. Take pita bread and fill it with this mixture. Now you have both

simply add these to the top of the salad. It makes it more filling, and adds a bit of extra overall taste.
